Admissions Testing
Check our birthdate table to determine a child's grade level when testing for enrollment. Students seeking admittance to The Village School will be administered the following entrance exams:
- 3 Year-olds – Braken Entrance Examination
- 4 Year-olds - Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning/Third Edition (DIAL 3)
- Kindergarten – The Village School Entrance Exam
- First Grade - The Village School Entrance Exam and the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT)
- Second through Fourth Grades - Stanford Achievement Test and the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT)
- Fifth through Eighth Grades - ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination) and the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT)
- In order to be accepted, testing must be administered by an accredited testing agent at The Village School unless special permission is given for a student to be tested by an accredited testing agent in another location.
