MEDICATION
Medication can only be given to a child between the hours of 8 A.M. and 3 P.M.
CHILD NOT GOING HOME VIA DAY CARE
On a day when a child will not be attending day care and will be going home via the front door carpool, the parent must notify the day care, either with a note sent with the child or by e-mail. Mrs.Acosta’s e-mail address is Acosta@thevillageschool.com with a cc to daycare@thevillageschool.com.
CHILD COLLECTED BY SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN PARENT
If a child will not be collected by the parent, a note signed by the parent indicating the name of the person who will collect the child, must be received by the day care.
EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSING
Normally, if there is emergency school closing, daycare will also close. If it is determined that the school should close during the school day the parent will be contacted by a day care staff member that day care will be closed and that the parent should collect their child. It is imperative that the day care have as many emergency numbers as possible. These emergency numbers would also be used if a child were to need medical assistance and day care needed to contact the parent.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE CURRENT TELEPHONE NUMBERS AND CONTACTS AT ALL TIMES.
