MULAN JR. AN OVERNIGHT SUCCESS

mulan pic Mulan Jr. was a smash hit! The cast and crew pulled together a spectacular treat for the entire Village School community. Never before on the Village stage were scary Huns, Chinese maidens, ancestral deities and dragons quite so entertaining! We are already looking forward to next year's production!

Look for Mulan Jr. photos coming soon on the school website!

Free Dress Day for attending Mulan Jr. is Thursday, March 13th.

Order early to get the best seats!

PARKING ALERT

car/truck hittingPlease take care when parking in front of the school facing west on Westella.  Two cars, parked legally, have been hit by Metro Buses.  Metro Buses turning right (west) onto Westella from Enclave Parkway are having difficulty clearing the corner.  In both recent cases, the car parked nearest to that intersection has been hit.  For the safety of your car, we strongly suggest parking beyond the green bicycle sign.

ATTENTION SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM

ATTENTION SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM and anyone else who still wants to join!  Mark your calendars for the final two tournaments of the season:  St. Thomas on March 28th and March 29th and Alief Hastings on April 19th.  For information, please see Ms. Walsh for a packet or log on to www.sthsjhst.org for St. Thomas and www.joyoftournaments.com for Alief Hastings.  NOTE:  These websites are for info only.  You MUST sign-up with Ms. Walsh to participate.

CARPOOL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The 7:20 A.M. Morning Greeters need your help.  We need some new faces for the second half of the school year. It's an easy, fun way to get involved with the school.  Some volunteers are stay-at-home parents, while others find this is a great way to volunteer as a working parent, before the workday begins.  Please just park your car at 7:15 A.M. or so, walk up and introduce yourself. We can tell you which mornings we need your help. Or, call Nancy Solis at 281-497-2512. Your child gets to be one of the first students in the classroom the mornings you volunteer, and you get to help our students start their day! Take your turn helping and make your child proud!

Labels and Box Tops for Education

bookfairlabels for education

Continue to collect those box tops and labels!!  The next collection day will be Wednesday, April 2nd.
