LET"S KICK IT!!!

kickball

It is kickball tourney time again, and the P.E. staff has chosen teams for our annual lower school Kickball Tournament at the friendly confines of the Vikings kickball diamond.  Teams will be practicing for 2 weeks leading up to our tournament in May.  Coach Klausmeyer reminds all participants to have fun, give it your best kick, and in order to maximize safety and sportsmanship, play within these guidelines:

            3 outs

            3 strikes

            4 fouls (after strike 2)=out

            no walks

            5 run limit/ per inning/ per team

alternate boy and girl kicking order

            infield plays behind pitcher

positions: first, second, third, 2 shortstops, catcher, pitcher, outfielders.

Check out the Lost and Found!

As the school year draws to a close, we find our lost and found bins full of clothes!  Sweatshirts and lunch kits and jackets galore, there is so much stuff, it's getting difficult to store!

Lost and Found Chairman, Marilyn White, has sorted the items and attempted to return any item marked with a first and last name.  At the end of the school year, all unclaimed items will be disposed of or donated to charity.
DANGER IN CARPOOL
DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILDREN OFF IN THE STREET

With the end of school in sight, we must not lose sight of the importance of safety in our carpool areas.  Just this morning, a parent reported that children were crossing through the front driveway from the street.  The parent felt she came dangerously close to striking them with her car because she was not expecting children to be coming from the left side of her car.

Please re-read the carpool guidelines from the lower school or middle school handbook.  Both handbooks may be found on the school website on the parents' page.

tutitionWe can hardly believe that it is time to start receiving tuition payments for the 2008-2009 school year.
The accounting department is working towards getting the invoices out ASAP.   SO... we are hoping that you will not mind that we are extending the "payment due" deadline, for the first payment only, until May 15, 2008.  Thank you for your understanding as we work through a change in accounting software.  If you have any
questions, please address them to our Business Office at 281.496.7900 extension 226.
