| A Note from the Nurse |
Dear Parents,
We have revised our health forms for the next school year, with the intention to help reduce paper 'overload'!
Click here for the 'nurse's note'
Please take time to first read the 'nurse's note' as this will explain what is required by us. Before sending us the forms, please also check to ensure vital signatures are in place.
Many thanks & have a safe and wonderful summer vacation.

| VMS Music Groups Make a Big Splash at Schlitterbahn |
Saturday, May 3rd, was an exciting day for VMS Choir, Band, and Orchestra students. Approximately 63 Choir, 43 Band, and 31 Orchestra students performed at the Sound Waves Music Festival in New Braunfels. The individual groups competed at different area schools in the morning and attended Schlitterbahn Waterpark in the afternoon. All three groups, under the direction of Debbie Stark (choir), Pat Karakas (orchestra), and Lynn Pyle (band) received Superior (1st division) trophies! The Choir and Orchestra also received Best in Class trophies, indicating that they were the best ensemble of their size that competed!
After an afternoon of water fun at the park, students traveled to historic Gruene, Texas, to dine at The Gristmill overlooking the Comal River. A very tired, but happy group returned to awaiting parents at 10:30 P.M, (just in time to wash clothes and leave for the grade-level trips!)
The Schlitterbahn trip has become a much-anticipated tradition with our performing arts groups. It is even more delightful and rewarding when the ensembles represent The Village Middle School so well. Kudos to our fabulous students and grateful thanks to the chaperones who made the trip possible.
