Carpool Safety
car

Several near misses involving our students, especially during peak carpool times, have occurred recently.  It has been reported that on these occasions the drivers were talking on or using a cell phone.

We strongly request all drivers to abstain from using any hand-held devices while operating a vehicle, particularly when on or around The Village School campus.  Pedestrians are particularly at risk when drivers are talking on their cell phones. During carpool, traffic is on the increase at all intersections near the school.  Please exercise additional caution during all drop-off and pick-up times.  The safety of our children, families, and staff is of extreme importance to all of us.
