I’m running away from the tornado,

How fast it comes at me.

I run as fast as lightning,

But not at all with glee.

The wind carried a parking meter,

And hurled it towards me.

Then I fell to the ground,

And I think I fractured my knee.

The wind picked me up in the air,

And I was hit by a golf club.

Then it hurled me to the ground,

And I landed in a guy’s hot tub.

As I soaked in the water,

It hurt and burned my knee.

But the pain was only beginning,

Since the wind blew a Mustang GT.

As I frantically dodged the car,

A mean guy came out wearing wool.

I panicked and jumped over the fence,

And landed on the neighbor’s pit bull.

I guess you could say, in a really weird way,

That I am having a bad day!
